Sonoma County Announces Open Burning Suspension

The California Department ofForestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) has announced the burn ban suspension,beginning 12:01 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2019, and bans all outdoor burning exceptfor campfires within organized campgrounds or on private property withlandowner permission. We hear you! Thanks toeveryone that responded to the County’s request for help in identifyingpotential sites in unincorporated areas to rezone for housing. As of 1/4/19, wereceived submissions for 42 parcels to evaluate for rezoning.
