About Virtual Office
Permit Sonoma and the Resiliency Permit Center offer both in-person and virtual operations, using e-submittals, telephony, and other technologies. Most staff communications with the public will occur by e-mail and telephone.

Permits Online
Permits Online is Permit Sonoma's online permitting tool. You can apply for permits, pay fees, schedule inspections, look up permit history and other property information, etc.

Please follow the instructions to get started with your first video inspection. If you have scheduled an inspection by telephone or via Permits Online, our inspection team will call the morning of the date you scheduled your inspection to answer any questions and schedule a more precise time for your video inspection to begin.
