Board of Supervisors set to consider Winery Events Ordinance Tuesday

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to consider adoption of Sonoma County’s first Winery Events Ordinance on Tuesday, March 14. The ordinance would establish new standards for winery events such as parking requirements, food service, traffic management, and noise standards to address the impact of winery visitor-serving uses on agricultural land. New and modified use permits would be subject to the new standards, while existing permits would not be impacted. Read full story

Permit Sonoma announces cannabis program update scoping meeting

Permit Sonoma will host a Comprehensive Cannabis Program Update meeting via Zoom on March 8 to solicit feedback on the scope of the proposed environmental review for the County of Sonoma’s planned cannabis program update. The Comprehensive Cannabis Program Update Environmental Impact Report will evaluate the impacts of policy proposals that could guide the future regulation of Sonoma County’s cannabis industry including its cultivation permitting process.
