On July 12, County inspectors found more than 9,000 unpermitted cannabis plants at a property located on Butler Avenue, Santa Rosa. Permit Sonoma, authorized by an inspection warrant, arrived on site just after 8:30am with assistance from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. Read full story

Sonoma County Announces Open Burning Suspension
The California Department ofForestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) has announced the burn ban suspension,beginning 12:01 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2019, and bans all outdoor burning exceptfor campfires within organized campgrounds or on private property withlandowner permission. Sonoma County Board of Supervisors Approves Updated Septic System Regulations
On June 11, 2019, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors took action to meet State mandated septic system regulations that protect water quality and public health.
