Board of Supervisors to Consider Adoption of the Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan
The Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of the 2021 Sonoma County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Plan (MJHMP) at a public meeting on December 7, 2021. The final draft of the Plan and other Board materials will be available on the Board of Supervisors website in advance of the meeting. Read full story

On April 21, 2021, Governor Gavin Newsom proclaimed an emergency drought for Sonoma and Mendocino Counties. On April 27, 2021, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors also proclaimed a drought emergency for Sonoma County. Read full story

Flood ManagementDesign Manual (FMDM) Announcement
Sonoma Water’s Board of Directors adopted a resolution approving the Flood Management Design Manual (FMDM) to provide guidance and criteria for the conveyance of storm water. The FMDM is a significant update to the existing criteria and will replace the current Sonoma County Water Agency Flood Control Design Criteria (FCDC). Read full story
