Survey & Land Development Fees

Fee determinations are based on a number of variables. Subdivision map check variables include the following:

  • How many lots are involved?
  • Will the lots be served by public sewer or septic system?
  • Is the map is a 'major' or 'minor' subdivision?
  • How many times is the map returned for corrections?

Improvement plan check variables include the following:

  • How many lots are involved?
  • How many times are the plans returned for corrections?

Improvement inspection fees are based upon a percentage of the cost of the improvements.

Due to the complexity of these determinations, it is unwise to make assumptions until the full scope of a project is determined by Permit Sonoma Staff at the time an application is accepted.

Please do not fill in amounts on checks prior to application acceptance.
