Grading and Storm Water ensures that construction and grading do not cause flooding. Grading is the excavation (cuts) and placement (fill) of earth material by artificial means. Storm water is any storm water runoff, snow melt, or surface runoff.
Encroachment permits for work in public roads for new driveway or utility installation.
Road Improvement Plan Review
Reviews improvement plans (roads, utilities, etc.) for new developments.
A sanitary sewer system collects and transports waste from indoor plumbing fixtures via public sewer to treatment plants.
Reviews all subdivision and survey maps before recordation.
Issues permits to operate or move vehicle(s) or special mobile equipment on County roads of a size or weight of vehicle or load exceeding the maximum limitations specified in the California Vehicle Code.
