Permit Sonoma invites you to attend and provide input at an upcoming virtual public workshop regarding the development of the draft County Winery Events Policy. This effort is a countywide initiative related to agricultural zoning districts outside of the Coastal Zone. The workshop will consist of a presentation about the draft County Winery Events Policy and solicit public input on the draft framework for county winery guidelines via small group discussions.
Any comments on the draft policy following the workshop are appreciated by March 1, 2021.

What Happens After the Workshop?
Staff will use information obtained from public comments, stakeholder groups, and local advisory groups to develop the draft ordinance for county winery event guidelines. Staff will continue the public engagement process by presenting the draft ordinance in a public hearing before the Planning Commission in spring 2021, followed by a final presentation of the draft ordinance in a public hearing before the Board of Supervisors in August 2021.
