To whom should checks be made payable?

Checks should be made out to PRMD (the acronym for Permit & Resource Management Department) or Permit Sonoma.

Due to the complexity of fee determinations we ask that you not to fill in amounts on checks before reaching the Cashier's station.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept MasterCard and Visa for transactions over $10.00.

There is no convenience fee associated with credit card transactions.

Can I pay online instead of coming in person?

Yes, you may pay online with a credit card.

  1. Go to Permits Online
  2. Select "Pay Fees"
  3. Search for your permit by entering your permit Record Number, then select "Search" button.
  4. Select the "Payments" drop down menu, then select "Fees."
  5. If fees are due, select the "Pay Fees" button and proceed with payment.
