Planning Commission

Duties
The Planning Commission holds public hearings and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors concerning updates and amendments to the County's General Plan and zoning regulations. The Planning Commission also holds hearings and makes decisions on major subdivisions and mining proposals.
Zoning Administrator

Duties
Hearing of the Zoning Administrator, part of the Sonoma County Planning Agency, discussing specified discretionary land use permits and variances, coastal development permits, and subdivisions creating less than five (5) lots.”
