Authority and Duties

Board of Supervisors: Resolution No. 52699, March 1, 1976; (established on April 23, 1974 under Ordinance No. 1768)

To Establish certain sites, buildings, etc., as historical landmarks; review development applications involving historic properties, grants program. The Landmarks Commission conducts the County’s Historic Design Review.
