Land Use Element
The Land Use Element of the Sonoma County General Plan provides for the distribution, location and extent of uses of land for housing, business, industry, open space, agriculture, natural resources, recreation and enjoyment of scenic beauty, education, public buildings and grounds, solid and liquid waste disposal facilities, and other uses. The Land Use Element and its policies guide growth and the development and use of land through 2020.
