Changes to Encroachment & Septic Permit Fee Process
As of July 12, 2019, Permit Sonoma will be changing how fees are assessed for encroachment permit applications and septic permit applications to be more consistent with how we assess fees for other types of similar construction permit applications. Read full story
No Wet Weather Testing Monday, April 1, 2019 Due to Cesar Chavez Holiday
Permit Sonoma is closed for the Cesar Chavez holiday and wet weather testing cannot be scheduled for that day. Forms and payments for testing on Tuesday, April 2nd must be submitted by 12:00 noon Friday, March 29th. Read full story
Board of Supervisors Consideration of Revised OWTS Manual
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will be considering the revised onsite waste treatment systems (OWTS) manual at an upcoming meeting on May 22, 2018. If the Board approves the revision, the County will then submit a revised Local Area Management Program (LAMP) and OWTS Manual to the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (NCRWQCB).
