Authority

Respective Departments: Ordinance Nos. 2217 and 2218, 04/11/77. Abolishes the Engineering Advisory Committee and Environmental Protection Committee and creates in their place the Project Review and Advisory Committee

Duties

Serves as technical advisory committee on subdivisions, takes referrals from Board and Planning Commission, approves minor subdivisions, oversees them, and makes recommendations to the Board and LAFCO concerning them. Also examines projects to determine necessity of preparing an Environmental Impact Report, and recommends on environmental issues. This committee replaces and performs the functions of the Environmental Protection Committee, the Engineering Advisory Committee, and the Mineral Resources Committee.
