Design Review Committee Meeting
The Design Review Committee (DRC) reviews and approves the design of significant new development projects, such as new commercial development. The Committee considers building and site design, architecture, colors, lighting, signs, landscaping and other design-related issues.

OWTS Manual Update Meeting June 26, 2024
Permit Sonoma will be holding Zoom meetings the week of June 24, 2024 to receive public input and comment. On July 16, 2024, Permit Sonoma will be seeking the Board of Supervisor’s authorization to submit a Local Agency Management Program (LAMP) to the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board. The State’s Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS) Policy requires each jurisdiction to apply to the Regional Water Board in order to implement a local program for the regulation of onsite wastewater treatment systems (aka septic systems). The County’s OWTS Manual contains the local polices for regulating OWTS, while the LAMP is the application to operate a local program. The County of Sonoma is pleased to release the latest draft of our Onsite Wastewater Treatment (OWTS) Manual.

Environmental Review Committee Meeting
The function of the Environmental Review Committee (ERC) is to review public projects in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to determine whether a Mitigated Negative Declaration or an Environmental Impact Report is required.
Landmarks Commission Meeting
The Landmarks Commission designates historic landmarks, reviews development proposals involving historic properties, and administers an historic resources preservation program. The Landmarks Commission meets the 1st Tuesday of each month (and as needed).
